No Surrender is a Strategic Order in Kards - The WWII CCG.

Hist No Surrender

Red Army soldiers surrendering to German soldiers, Operation Barbarossa, 1941.

In 1942 Joseph Stalin issued "Order 227", which stated that no commander had the right to retreat without an order. This was a symbolic drawing of a line, a decision that no further retreat was possible and that it was time for the Red Army to turn and face the enemy and make a stand. The order is most famous for its line "Not a step back!", which became a slogan of the Soviet resistance against the Nazi invasion.
