KV-2 is a Heavy Tank in Kards - The WWII CCG.

Background[]

Hist KV-2

Abandoned KV-2 tank, date unknown.

The Kliment Voroshilov was a Soviet heavy tank, named after the Soviet defense commissar and politician Kliment Voroshilov, and used by the Red Army during WWII. The KV-2 was a heavy assault tank with a main armament of a M-10 152 mm howitzer, and due to the size of the turret it had a much higher profile than the KV-1 and much heavier as well. The KV-2 was produced at the same time as the KV-1, but due to its heavy weight and slow speed it was considered ineffective in combat and only 334 tanks were produced. The KV-2 had a crew of 6 and a secondary armament of 2× DT machine guns.

Strategy[]

KV-2 is a strong late game Heavy Tank unit with it decent skill. KV-2 is almost immune to all Artillery units, Air units and British pin orders It also has very strong survive ability with 5 health and Heavy Armor 2. KV-2 has 7 deploy cost and 3 op. cost making it quite expensive to play and operate. If your KV-2 made it to the frontline it would be a hard task for your opponent to retake the front and also keep the presure on your opponent. Lastly KV-2 can be combined with Bolster the Ranks making it 10/8 Heavy Armor 2 tank which is stronger than unbuff to tank units of every major nation and keep in mind that it does not immune to removal orders.
