A human torpedo is a type of diver propulsion vehicle on which the diver rides. They were used as secret naval weapons in WWII and the name is commonly used to refer to the weapon that Italy and later Britain deployed in the Mediterreanean and used to attack and sink enemy ships in the harbor.
