The 5th Infantry Brigade was a part of the 2nd Division of the British Army during WWII. The Brigade was sent to France in 1939 and served at the Franco-Belgian border until it was evacuated at Dunkirk in May 1940. In 1942, the 5th Brigade served in the Burma Campaign and the Battle of Kohima.
