186th Folgore is a Infantry in Kards - The WWII CCG.
During WWII the 186th Paratroopers Regiment Folgore was part of the 185th Paratroopers Division Folgore of the Italian Army. The division was formed in 1941 and was sent to North Africa where it fought with the Axis in the Western Desert Campaign. While in Africa the 185th Division Folgore fought in several battles and operations, such as the First Battle of El Alamein (where the whole divisions was awarded a Gold Medal of Military Valor), Battle of Alam el Halfa, Operation Braganza and the Second Battle of El Alamein. After the armistice in 1944, soldiers from the division formed the Combat Group "Folgore" which fought with the Allies for the remainder of the war. After the war the name was changed to the Mechanized Division "Folgore", which was disbanded in 1986.
